the last few days have been very relaxing

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday pretty much were just relaxing/lazy days. We really didn’t do much but stick around the house, besides going grocery shopping.

Potty training

Monday we started potty training (hardcore) and it really didn’t go well. On a positive note Addison learned how to take  her panties on and off.DSCN1174

Addison getting sick

Monday afternoon Addison woke up from an afternoon nap , with a very high fever (102.5). I called Addison’s doctor because I was afraid she had Flu.  Her doctor was also very concerned because of the potential ramifications of Addison having Flu around Avery. Luckily the fever dropped and with that the likelihood that she has the Flu.

Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2009- Adam’s 27th Birthday

Doctor visit

The kids went to the doctor today. Addison was diagnosed with a bug and the Flu culture test was negative!!!!.  Addison is 27lb and 37in. The doctor estimates that both Avery and Addison will be approximately 5 ft. 10 in. Avery had to get his 4 month shots and regular check up. Avery is 12 lbs and 24 in long! The doctor said we can now give Avery stage one fruit.

Adam’s Birthday

Today is Adam’s 27th Birthday! Happy Birthday my love! He stayed home today to help with the kids, just in case Addison had the flu. I hope he had a great day with us. Addison and I baked cookies for him and  sang HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Addison told her daddy “Happy Birthday Daddy” crystal clear and it made me want to cry. We had Adam a Birthday dinner filled with lots of love.

(I felt real bad that this was the 2nd year in a row that Adam had to stay home from work on his Birthday due to one of just being sick. Last year I was in the hospital on his birthday and now Addison was sick….next year we will make it up to him)

Addison pee-pee’d in the potty

Today we really focused on potty training. I brought Addison to the potty every 30 minutes and still NOTHING! She did manage to pee on our floor 3 times though. After the third time of peeing on the floor, I decided to take her doctor’s advice and trick her. I put Addison down for a nap on her nap pad and told her not to pee-pee in them or she has to sit in the wet panties. She went to sleep and woke up dry. I  ran and put her on the potty as soon as she woke up and she pee-pee’d !!!! She was so happy and surprised. So in return she got a sucker and a mark on her chart! GOOD GIRL ADDISON!!!!!
